The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has asked candidates who have not yet seen their result to reprint exam slip for a mop-up examination. The JAMB Mop-up UTME Examination is for candidates whose results were cancelled and candidates who have not yet seen their JAMB Result since March. The re-printing of exam slip for the mop-up examination commence from today Monday 21 May 2018. JAMB said they are set to conducts the mop-up examination for about 12000 candidates whose result were not released.
Candidates Eligible to write the 2018 JAMB Mop-up Examination
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has set May 26 for rescheduled Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) for more than 12,000 candidates across the country.
JAMB has sent out SMS and email to candidates eligible for the mop-up Examination. The categories of candidates that are eligible for the JAMB mop-up exam include
- Those whose biometrics were not captured during the initial period of the UTME in March
- Those are yet to see their results since the end of the examinations in March till date and have not been involved in any form of malpractice.
- Those who were unable to print out their e-slip before the earlier examinations.
- Those whose centres were cancelled for suspected malpractices.
Note: Those, who were involved and caught in illicit acts and centres where a case of malpractice has been established against them would not partake in the rescheduled examinations.
All the candidates who might have fallen into any of the categories listed above are qualified for the mop-up UTME and they are advised to start printing print their e-slips from Monday, May 21.
